What is Family Focus? Family Focus is a secure app for separated and divorced parents to communicate, share a calendar, track expenses, and store important documents. Every message is timestamped and tamper-proof, so you always have a reliable record of your co-parenting communication.

Who is Family Focus for? Any parent, guardian, or legal representative who needs a clear, organized way to coordinate with a co-parent — and records they can trust if disputes arise. Attorneys, mediators, and Attorneys for the Child can also access a family's records in view-only mode.

How much does Family Focus cost? Family Focus is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no advertisements.

Can ElevenFortyFive, LLC read my messages or documents? No. We built Family Focus with strict privacy-by-design principles. We do not read, monitor, or access the content of your family's private communications or documents. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or train AI models with it. What if the operator of Family Focus has a legal conflict with me? Because the operator of ElevenFortyFive, LLC is also a practicing attorney, we've built additional protections into our Privacy Policy. We will not access or use your Family Focus data in any legal matter involving the company or its principals. If you believe you may become adverse to the company in a legal proceeding, you can request heightened access restrictions on your account.

Is my data secure? Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest on Google Cloud infrastructure. Database security rules enforce that only members of your own family can access your family's data.

How do my co-parent and I get connected in the app? One parent creates a family and shares a 6-digit invite code with the other. Once linked, you both see the same messages, calendar, expenses, and documents in real time.

Can I invite my attorney or mediator? Yes. Each family has a separate observer code you can share with your attorney, the Attorney for the Child (AFC), or your mediator. Observers get view-only access — they can see messages, calendar, expenses, and documents, but cannot post or edit anything. Attorneys and mediators can follow multiple client families from a single account.

Are messages in Family Focus admissible in court? Messages in Family Focus are designed to support reliable record-keeping. Every message has an immutable server timestamp and cannot be edited or deleted after it's sent — not by you, not by us. You can also export records as court-ready PDFs. Whether any particular record is admissible is a legal determination for your attorney and the court.

Can I delete or edit a message after I send it? No. Messages in Family Focus are tamper-proof by design. This is an architectural property, not a policy choice — not even we can edit or delete messages. This protects the integrity of the record for both parents.

Can I export my records? Yes. You can export message threads, calendar ranges, expense histories, and document sets as PDFs directly from the app — useful for sharing with your attorney or the court.

What happens if I delete my account? Your account-level identifiers (email, display name) are removed or pseudonymized. Your historical messages remain accessible to your co-parent with your attribution, so the shared record stays intact. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Does Family Focus provide legal advice? No. Family Focus is a communication and record-keeping tool.
